How do I know you?

I’m a self-taught artist and actor who was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and is based in Los Angeles, CA. I create vibrant, dark, and surreal paintings in watercolor & ink. Since starting to paint professionally in 2006, my work has been exhibited in galleries and private collections across the U.S. and worldwide.

#ArtVsArtist2022

You may know me from an art fair or art show, saw or bought my art somewhere, or saw another one of my million art projects. Or maybe you haven’t seen any of my art. Either way, both of you have a lot in common: you probably don’t know me at all. My art is mostly fiction. In this newsletter, I’ll share some of my real life. The question is: Do I even have a life?

Why subscribe?

You’ll receive a newsletter that will include stuff I haven’t been sharing on any of my social media:

  • sketches

  • art process notes with photos and videos

  • books and art material recommendations

  • and “how I did this” posts. I guess those could be called tutorials. But since I’m self-taught, they are more of “here’s my way of doing this” type of posts, with resources to help you find your own way.

Painting a Skeletons Of Selfcare comic in my watercolor sketchbook.

I also self-publish my own comic Skeletons Of Self-care on several social media and websites and added a syndicate here as an option for you to receive.
